At Barstool Sports, I was part of a small team of senior designers who shaped the UX / UI design of a multitude of digital products under the Barstool brand. Working in an agency like setting, I worked on many varying projects, from eCommerce, to Internal Content Management Systems.

I was promoted in November of 2020, and I began working on associate experiences. This work involved more technical UX product thinking, working on more internal systems to help our hundreds of thousands of employee’s. I built user flows, service blueprints, conducted in-person moderated User Research, and more.

Working primarily on UI with input on UX, I worked on a team of 3 to sprint, research, prototype, and design beautiful experiences for our eCommerce customers all around the United States. I primarily worked on customer facing experiences, including product pages, PDP’s, digital coupons, accounts experiences, and more.

At CompleteSet, I worked on marketing design, photography, and videography. At a startup you have to be ready to do what is necessary for the business, and my role quickly evolved into working as our only in-house photographer, taking over 40,000 production ready photo’s over an 8 month period. During that time I also worked hand in hand with our marketing team to create dynamic content strategy, as well as working as our only social media designer.

I managed the web focused presence of The Northerner, the student newspaper of Northern Kentucky University. I worked hand in hand with our reporters to create interesting and dynamic web packages to take their stories to the next level. I managed and gave weekly analytics reports and suggestions on how to improve content. I worked as lead web designer and developer to create multimedia packages which featured writing, photo, video, and animation. For our efforts we won a national pinnacle award for best National Multimedia Package in 2016 for a story we ran involving a surge in gun violence on campuses around the country, and how our university is dealing with it.
